Legal Information and Updates

If you leave your high-beams on, you could get cited under NY VTL 375-3

Getting a faceful of high-beams from an oncoming car or though a rear-view mirrior is annoying, and maybe dangerous. If a police officer sees it happen, though, it could get you a two-point ticket.

Complicating this law is the fact that headlights can be very bright, whether the high beams are on or not. If you’ve been cited for using your high beams in upstate New York, it’s probably worth a free consultation. You can call the office, or upload your traffic ticket here and get a call back.
